COLLABCREW BY CREATIVE SPAN

Terms and Conditions

Updated 8 September 2026

These terms describe how to use CollabCrew by Creative Span and the collaboration features available to businesses and creators. Please also read the Privacy Policy.

Your account

Use accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and only enter collaborations you have the legal capacity and permission to accept. If you represent a business, you must have authority to act for it. One email can be associated with one account type; deleting an account does not allow that email to switch to a different type.

Profiles and uploaded content

Only upload photos and content you own or have permission to use. Do not impersonate others, misrepresent your audience, or infringe someone’s rights. Follower ranges must honestly reflect the social profiles you add. A social link alone does not verify account ownership.

You retain ownership of your content. You give CollabCrew permission to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the features you use, including profile visibility, job records, and retained conversations. This does not transfer the ownership of a creator’s work to a business; agree content-use rights in the brief.

Offers and job assignment

A creator’s acceptance submits an offer on the displayed brief terms. The business assigns the job by finalizing that creator. Do not start work merely because you submitted an offer. Businesses may reject pending offers. When the business fills its desired number of creator openings, remaining pending offers close and move out of the Awaiting List into History.

An offer rejection applies only before assignment. It cannot be used to cancel a finalized job. Existing accepted commitments keep the brief locked as shown in the app until those commitments are resolved.

Scope, compensation and changes

Before accepting or finalizing, review the deliverables, dates, cash amount, food or barter benefits, payment timing, expenses, and content-use rights. Cash requires an amount. Food and barter require a description of the benefits. Review the business address shown in the brief. Amounts and benefits in a brief are per creator.

Assigned job terms are saved and cannot be changed unilaterally. The mutual-release feature asks all affected creators to end their current commitments. Only unanimous approval unlocks the brief for changes or deletion; revised terms require fresh acceptance. Settle any work already delivered or compensation owed with the other party before agreeing to a release. The app does not automatically waive those obligations.

The creator requests completion after delivering the agreed work, and the business confirms when the job is done.

Job cancellation

Either participant may request cancellation of their assigned job. The other participant must agree before it ends. An approved request affects that job only and counts against the account that started the request. A business may also ask every affected creator to mutually release a whole brief; any finalized jobs released in that process count as business-initiated cancellations. Pending offers released before assignment do not count.

The cancellation rate is the number of cancellations attributed to an account divided by all its finalized jobs. No finalized jobs means a rate of zero. Declined or withdrawn requests do not count. Resolve outstanding work and compensation before agreeing to cancel.

Private job chat

After assignment, the individual creator and business can communicate in that job’s chat. Keep messages relevant and respectful. Do not use chat for harassment, threats, scams, spam, or unlawful content. Chat is not a way to bypass the brief’s change and release controls.

When the job is completed or released, new messages are disabled. The conversation remains available as read-only history for the participants who retain access to their accounts. Account deletion does not remove the other participant’s historic conversation record.

Completed-job ratings

The business may submit one rating of one to five stars after it confirms job completion. Ratings are final once submitted through the app. Rate the actual collaboration fairly. Do not manipulate ratings, arrange fake reviews, or make compensation conditional on a positive rating. The creator’s average and rating count appear on their card and profile. Contact support if you believe a rating involves misuse.

Compensation and responsibilities

Businesses and creators arrange compensation and delivery between themselves, including taxes, expenses, permissions, deadlines, and disputes about their work. CollabCrew records collaboration terms and progress; it does not currently process, hold, or guarantee payments. It does not guarantee a creator’s audience, a business’s payment, campaign results, or the accuracy of user-provided information.

Advertising disclosures

Follow applicable advertising laws and the rules of each social platform. Make truthful claims and clearly disclose commercial relationships, including paid work, free meals, gifted products, and barter. A benefit does not need to be cash to require disclosure. The FTC’s influencer disclosure guidance is one resource; the requirements applicable to your audience and location may differ.

Misuse, availability and support

Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, misuse another account’s information, or use the platform for illegal activities. We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably needed to address misuse, protect others, or comply with applicable requirements. Features may be unavailable during maintenance or service interruptions.

For account concerns, content complaints, or assistance with collaboration records, contact hello@cc.creativespan.net. CollabCrew does not provide an automatic arbitration or payment-protection service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated date appears above, and material changes will be communicated through the service or an account contact channel where appropriate.
