COLLABCREW BY CREATIVE SPAN

Privacy Policy

Updated 8 September 2026

CollabCrew by Creative Span helps businesses and creators manage collaborations. This policy explains the information used to run the service. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@cc.creativespan.net.

Information we collect

We collect the email address, protected password credentials, account type, profile details, photos, city and country, exact business address, collaboration preferences, social links, and follower ranges you provide. We also store Favorites, briefs, offers, agreed job details, job messages, ratings, notifications, account confirmation records, and session and security records. Hosting providers may process connection information and service logs needed to deliver and protect the site.

The crop tool processes your selected image in your browser. The cropped photo is uploaded when you choose Save photo. Cancelling the crop does not upload that selection.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, display relevant profiles and briefs, manage offers and assigned jobs, provide private job chat, display activity statistics and ratings, send account and job emails, and prevent misuse. We use information for these service purposes, to administer collaboration records, and to meet applicable obligations.

Who can see your information

Published creator profiles, photos, social links, reported follower ranges, completed-job totals, and average ratings are visible to business accounts. Creators see relevant business briefs and business information. Favorites belong to the business that saved them. Your sign-in email is not displayed on creator discovery cards.

Job conversations are available in the app only to the business and creator assigned to that individual job. Another creator on the same brief does not gain access. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted; the service and its providers process stored information to operate, protect, and support the platform. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or other information unnecessary for the job.

Email verification and profile visibility

Businesses and creators confirm their email when registering. Instagram verification is not required. New creator profiles have visibility switched on, and creators can switch it off. Published creator profiles with a cover photo appear to businesses. Exact business addresses appear in briefs and are saved with agreed job terms.

Social profiles and ratings

Adding a social username or link shares that address; it does not verify ownership or give CollabCrew access to your social account. Follower ranges are supplied by creators and are labelled as creator reported. The business can rate a completed job from one to five stars. Average ratings and the number of ratings appear on creator cards and profiles.

Social platforms and other external websites have their own privacy policies when you visit them.

Business contact and cancellation information

Your business name is used on your profile and briefs. The owner or manager name is shown only in the business account’s profile settings. A business contact number is shared with the creator assigned to an individual job, including that job’s completed record; it is not included in open briefs or pending applications and is hidden after cancellation.

Cards show an account’s cancellation rate: finalized jobs cancelled by mutual agreement after that account started the request, divided by all its finalized jobs. Rejected offers, declined requests, and withdrawals do not count. Collaboration and cancellation records are retained with job history.

Service providers

Our hosting, database, photo-storage, and email providers process information needed to run CollabCrew. Resend receives recipient email addresses and the content of transactional account and job emails. See Resend’s privacy policy. Providers may process information outside your country. We do not promise that all information stays in a particular country.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies support sign-in, confirmation and password-reset requests, and your portal selection. Ordinary sign-in sessions last until the session cookie is removed or the server session expires after 12 hours. Remember Me can keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Your portal choice can persist for 30 days; logout clears it. Password changes invalidate existing sessions.

Older drafts previously saved in your browser may be offered for import. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and account features from working.

Retention and account deletion

You can request account deletion from Account settings → Security. Assigned jobs and any remaining accepted commitments must first be completed, rejected where permitted, or mutually released. Deletion removes sign-in access, your profile, your uploaded photo, and your Favorites. Photo removal is queued for retry if storage is temporarily unavailable.

Historic collaboration details, messages, and ratings can remain available for the other participant’s records and resolving issues. Job completion or release closes new messaging while preserving read-only chat history. These historical records do not currently have an automatic expiry. Deleting an account does not erase the other participant’s copy of those collaboration records.

A hashed reference to your email and its associated account type is retained to enforce the rule that the email cannot be used for a different account type. A newly created account does not regain access to a deleted account’s job conversations.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can update your profile, change creator discovery visibility, reset your password with a new email code, and delete your account through settings. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights available under the law that applies to you. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. If information must be retained, we will explain the reason. Where applicable, you may raise a concern with the relevant privacy authority.

Security and policy updates

We use salted password hashes and account-based access controls. No online service can promise absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or an account contact channel where appropriate.
